NKSF awards 2009 Scholarships
June 3, 2009 - North Kitsap Schools Foundation and its partners awarded twelve scholarships to NK School District 2009 graduating seniors at awards celebrations on June 3.
NKSF awards over $20,000 in scholarships
June 3, 2008 - North Kitsap Schools Foundation awarded $22,500 in new and renewed scholarships to North Kitsap School District graduates and graduating seniors from North Kitsap and Kingston high schools. NKSF administers scholarship programs for a variety of community groups.
North Kitsap Schools Foundation “MOR” for a Difference Featured Charity for September
Poulsbo, WA, August 16, 2008 – North Kitsap Schools Foundation has been selected as the September featured charity for Mor Mor Bistro’s “MOR” for a Difference Charity Lunches. Mor Mor will donate 5% of their total Wednesday lunch sales to North Kitsap Schools Foundation during September. As a bonus, Liberty Bay Auto will match the Mor Mor donation. Lunch service runs from 11am to 2pm. (more in press release)
NKEF Becomes North Kitsap Schools Foundation
Poulsbo, WA, August 6, 2008 – The board of the former North Kitsap Education Foundation (NKEF) has announced that the name of the foundation has been changed to North Kitsap Schools Foundation (NKSF). The reason for the change is to more clearly distinguish the organization from those with similar names, such as the North Kitsap Education Association.
North Kitsap Schools Foundation, which is a non-profit, volunteer organization, was established in 2002 to promote and help fund the best possible learning opportunity for all students of the North Kitsap School District. (press release)

2007 Mini-Grants Awarded
November 20, 2007: Mini-Grants Awarded for 2007 North Kitsap Education Foundation (NKEF) announced this week the award of 16 grants to North Kitsap teachers and staff. Driver Ed Scholarships Deadline
Applications for Kyle Sizemore Memorial Fund driver education scholarships are available in high school Counseling Offices and this website. Please plan ahead. We review applications received by the 15th of the month as a group and notify recipients prior to the end of the month. This makes the funding available for courses starting the next month.
