North Kitsap Schools Foundation Awards Classroom Grants
November 30, 2009: North Kitsap Schools Foundation (NKSF) announced today the award of grants totaling nearly $2,000 to North Kitsap School District teachers and staff. Grant amounts ranged from $250 to $550. A grant evaluation committee of NKSF Board and community members evaluated the grant applications and selected 6 from 18 applications. The intent of the NKSF Mini-Grant Program is to provide funding for innovative teaching ideas that teachers often fund partially or entirely out of their own pockets. (read complete press release...)
