North Kitsap Schools Administrators Association awarded their annual scholarship to Joel Harrington.

2006 Highlights

The North Kitsap Schools Administrators Association (NKSAA) initiated a program  this year to award a scholarship annually  to a graduating senior who had at least a 3.0 high school GPA, demonstrates financial need, and has been accepted to an accredited educational institution.

The inaugural scholarship was awarded to Mayra Ramirez, who entered NKHS as a sophomore from Mexico. When she arrived from Mexico she spoke very little English, but has taken an impressive class load.  Her dream is to be a pediatrician and utilize her bi-lingual skills.
